In the California Central Valley, 17 High Schools obtain Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Programs representing all of the United States Armed Services.   

(Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps) The Selma High School JROTC program is the only program representing the United States Marine Corps in the valley. Together, the Central Valley programs has developed a community we recognized as the Central California (CECA) League.  The CECA programs participate in numerous competitive events among each other and other programs outside of the Central Valley.  In some occasions, competitions takes place out of state as well.  Athletic competitions include numerous sporting events, physical fitness meets, military training competitions, Cyber Patriot and academic meets.
